The best thing to do is bring it to your local car audio shop. It should be relatively inexpensive and you won't have to stress. ALSO, look online for the shops... Do some research if you'd like to make sure they are honest and have great customer relationships...

What does an audiovox FLTB2 do, how does one hook it up. Is it any good.

The FLTB2 is an immobilizer bypass module for GM vehicles. It is designed to bypass the resistor based GM anti-theft system. The FLTB2 works on numerous GM vehicles and, it must be programmed for the particular year/make/model of the vehicle. To program the unit you need a flashlogic updater. This device plugs into a computer USB on one end and the FLTB2 module on the other. You need to download the weblink driver at flash-it.com for the updater and the FLTB2 to be recognized. After you have downloaded the driver, plug the updater into your computer. Next, plug the updater into the FLTB2. Select "Update Module" at the top right hand of the screen. The current firmware will be displayed. Click next. Click on flash by vehicle. You will then be able to select the year/make/model of the vehicle that you intend to use the module on. Click "select vehicle" . You will then be directed to the page to flash the module. Click on flash module. The screen will display a status bar for the programming process and will prompt you when done. You will also be directed to the left side of the page to download the installation instructions particluar to the firmware just downloaded. Please read carefully. The instruction usually display numerous installation instructions for several different vehicles. You will have to find your particular vehicle by year/make/model, look for install type and proceed from there. Also, pay particular attention to the programming instructions. If you are hardwiring the module to the remote starter, be sure to select hardwire in the programming sequence. Enjoy.

What is the easiest way to install a gm-x334 amp

yeah thats fine

but to be honest it would be better to look in the back of the radio for rca jacks

but you can tap into the rear speakers wires

also connect the negative of the amp to a metal point on the car, not the negative of the battery

and the positive of the amp to the positive of the
battery

also you need to find a remote wire (this is usually behind the radio)
so im guessing you will have to take out the radio
unless you add a switch from the postive of the battery to the remote jack of the amp
and manually turn on and off the amp while driving the car

but this runs the risk of leaving the amp on and draining the battery

so i suggest taking out the radio and using the wires behind it

The power light flicking on and off.

sounds like either a bad earth or a bad remote signal.

check the earth cable for continuity - make sure that it has a good earth to the chassis of the car.

also check the remote signal cable that runs from the back of the head unit to the amp ~(use multi meter to check continuity).
