Purchased dell duo and audio station together. It worked fine. Then a few months ago I noticed that it wouldn't always charge when docked unless I rebooted and put back in dock. Then quit working altogether. My dog chewed the power cord to dock about same time so not sure which happened first. Anyway, purchased new cord, still doesn't work. Doesn't even recognize when docked any more. reinstalled all software and drivers, still didn't work. Purchased new dock and another power cord. Still doesn't work. However, after reinstalling duo stage and then duo station, it came on ONE time and then no more (with photo frame or clock choice) but still no charge. Haven't got it to recognize duo station dock since. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I love my duo and used the dock a lot.
I had the same issue. I tried opening the dock and could not find anything wrong. It seems the charger was delivering sufficient voltage. So I disconnected power to the charger and reconnected couple of times and it started working again. My charger has a LED light and based on the brightness of the light you can findout if the output voltage is close to 20 volts.
