Limewire is definately not a great site to use. the quality is sometimes and most of the time horrible. try Free Studio Player 2.2. just google it and its the first link. it is just like limewire except it can get any youtube video/mp3 from the video you want. so you know what your getting. plus there are no viruses! good luck!

I am trying to download music I purchased on itunes to my mp3 player. It shows it on the list when I have it on the computer, but does not show or play on the actual mp3 player. What do I do>

Hi dasdis07...

You did not say what manufacture your MP3 player is so it is hard to tell you what to do.
I will assume you have a normal MP3 player...not an Ipod.
Check to see what format your MP3 player will play...because the I-tunes songs are in ACC.
Normal everyday players play MP3,WMA,ect...but will not play ACC that plays on ipods.
You will also need to download (FREE) and run a media converter so that you can convert your ACC music files to MP3,WMA,etc files that will play on your MP3 player.
Once you have your music converter and on Windows Media Player, then you can transfer them to your MP3 player
What your going to have to do is follow these instructions below:

My Laptop does not recognize my mp3 player. I am trying to download pic and music.

Please install and use the “Coby Media Manager” software provided on the player.
CMM (Coby Media Manager) software is the easiest way to: Transfer (sync) media files to the player, Convert video and audio files to a format compatible with your player, Keep your player’s software up to date, Browse and play your media library on your computer.

you can download the Coby Media Manager here:

I cant get my coby mp 815 to pull up its music manager on my new computer, I pluged it in, but it just plays whats already loaded on it? whats the music manager?

If I was you I would use either Windows Media Player or Drag and Drop your files to your player. If you choose to use Windows Media Player you will have the same functions that you will have with the coby music manager. Here is the following ways to add music and files to your player if you choose the above ways to add music:

**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder; available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

Can I download language CD onto MP3?

Open Windows Media Player. Use the mouse to highlight the "Rip" tab. click on the little black arrow underneath the Rip tab. Select Rip Options, and change format to "Mp3". Then insert the CD into the disc drive, and then press the Rip button to begin ripping in mp3 format. You can then transfer the newly ripped mp3 files to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player or whatever software is appropriate for your Coby.

Coby MP-C883

I have been able to sync mine, though it wouldn't transfer some songs. It would sit there trying to convert it but wouldn't. So I tried the alternate way to get them on. I just did a drag and drop and all the songs played fine. I just had to be sure to hold the play/hold/stop button for about six seconds before it would turn on.
BTW all of the songs including the ones windows wanted to convert played fine this way.

Help with copying music to my mp3

I have the same player. Are you just dragging and dropping songs on to the player? I use Windows Media Player 10 to put music on the player. It has a function called SYNC. What that does is take your music from WMA 10 (WMA, MP3 files, etc...) and transfers them to your mp3 player. You might give that a shot. Also, WMA 10 should recognize your player and let you connect with it.
