Anyone might know the wiring diagram for the cdx c680

Help. I'm having issue's with installing the sony cdx-c680 in my car. im needing to know what wires are what? could anyone let me know? ive burnt a fuse or two.

I'm re-wiring the sony cdx gt520 stereo on my son's 2000 Grand Am. I have the Sony wiring diagram but have one problem...there is a light blue wire on the Sony harness that is NOT covered in the wiring...
it signals to the powered aerial so if you do not have one you can ignore it!

My Sony CDX-C680...
Hello greggerika,

It's possible that the "illumination" wire is not connected or connected improperly. It's also possible that the front panel electrical connections are not making proper contact. Remove the front panel and gently clean the contacts with a pencil eraser.

Also, the CDX-C680 allows you to select either green or amber illumination. One or the other may be defective. Try changing it. Press SHIFT - press "3" (set up) three times - press "5" (right arrow) to change the setting. Also check the setting for "dimmer". ON will result in a dimmed display at all times. AUTO will dim the display whenever the headlights are turned on (if the wiring is connected properly). OFF will result in the brightest display at all times.

I would advise buying the aftermarket wiring harness female/male so you can just plug it in.
