HITACHI 53SDX20B I recently was given a 53" Hitachi tv. After reading some fixes on here it seems it has an IC problem. My question is there a way to just replace the board that the two IC's that need replaced instead of soldering them. If so where would I find such a place. Many thanks... newbie on the block

You can try PTS electronics they can rebuild it for you

you probably won't find a new one but you could probably send yours in to be rebuilt if you don't want to attempt the repair. Google PTS Electronics for there info you can call for a quote, sometimes they even have them on the shelf and you can just return your old one. You'll pay more but less work.

find a phone number for hitachi and they will sell the screen to you directly for list cost some other places might try to mark up any prices.
