After reading and trying these solutions with out success, what I did was climb to the top of my roof and throw the Panasonic unit onto the cement driveway. The end result was the unit still won't work but darn I feel much better. No Mo Panasonic electronics for me, thank you very much!!!!

I had the same problem -F60 error after pressing the power button until the time appears. At first I used the reset button , then held the channel up and down buttons until it shut the unit off, but still got the F60. I then shut the unit off overnight and when I plugged it back in and Setup appeared after the blinking hello, I turned off the quick start option and it completed setup without any further errors. I also manually deleted the broadcast channels that had no signal before proceeding. Hope it works for you too!

SOURCE: Any button pushed on my remote control causes ''SET 1'' on display.

Hi, All you need to do is point the remote at your DVD player and hold both the number "1" and "enter" keys down for about 10 seconds. Evidently that re-sets the remote. It worked for me so good luck.

Unplug the unit.
Plug back in and wait till you see 000000.
Press and hold the power button in at least ten seconds or until the clock shows up.
This worked to fix mine.

SOURCE: F60 ERROR CODE ON PANASONIC DMR-ES40V

Unplug the unit for 24-hours. I know, it should not take that long, but in this case I tried shorter periods WITHOUT success!

Just before plugging in unit depress and hold POWER button. You are supposed to hold it for 30-seconds after plugging in, but in my case I did it for 60-seconds. This results in a MASTER RESET that clears all errors, resets interlocks, etc. I could not get past a DVD failure problem, but when I discovered this process everything worked fine!!

Good luck! Hope it works for you too.

SOURCE: Panasonic DMR-EZ48V stopped working properly. It

My unit is doing exactly the same thing. I've tried reloading the firmware, but it never appears to enter the First Time Setup. To load the CD I had to remove the cover, (disconnect the power) and manually eject the DVD tray. With the cover off, look on the side of the DVD. There is a square hole, directly above the screw that attaches the DVD to the chassis. Insert a stiff rod and push. The DVD tray will open. This is how I loaded the firmware CD. This all started after I rescanned the tuner and then did a manual channel edit. While trying to edit the channels, the unit stopped tuning and ended up in its current state.

Went on vacation and left the PS3 powercord unplugged. Now it doesn't work, could it be the cable?

Hey there, a couple of things to verify here to get your ps3 back up and running. Do not worry about leaving your ps3 the whole week with the powercord unplugged, this is OK and should't have affected anything negatively.
1) Make sure that the powercord is well plugged on both ends: ps3 AND in the wall.
2) Make sure that the SWITCH is turned on (in the back of the ps3, there is also a POWER switch I/O). Turn it on by pushing on the I.
3) If it's still unpowered, try plugging the ps3 itself somewhere else in the house (to make sure it's not the power outlet)

I can't seem to set the display of my WHIRLPOOL VT255WH (VT-255-WH) microwave to show the current time. I had unplugged it before going on vacation and now have plugged it in.

Please switch off your power connection and try to get access to the control unit. Since you had mentioned that the set was unplugged while you went on vacation, it is possible that some moisture/insects/ condensation have cloggged on the control booard and the back up memory maybe down. So check the board and clean well use some petrol dipped with a ear bud and use a brush to clean. Use a hair dryer to warm up the circuits before you fix this back, make sure you do not damage the display with excessive heat. So fix back and allow the power to be on for several hours before you try to set the clock . If must work for sure but leave it on. Hope you try and get this right. Good day

I'm getting the error message LE which says motor overload. I've read some comments on line that people have drained the water unplugged the machine for a couple of hours and the error message went away...

Hello,

LE code stands for locked motor error. When this error code appears in your front load washer it indicates a fault in the motor unit.

1 . Check the connections to the Coil/Stator at the rear of the unit possibly it should be something like a broken wire.

2 . Coil/Stator Assembly will be defective preventing the drive to operate. You should go for a replacement of that assembly.

Thanks

Craftsman garage door opener

Nine out of ten times the problem you describe is a bad circuit board. The power surge blows the board when it comes back on.

You unplugged the unit -this will reset the circuit board.
If it clicks - you have power to the unit.
If shorting between 1 and 2 gives you nothing - no light - no motor - the 1st thing I would do is try a new board.

Hope this helps

Lg 42'' plasma 720p no picture

This is not good. Was your tv unplugged or just power button off when you left for vacation. PlasmaTvs are highly susceptible to damage from power surges caused by lighting. Leave unplugged for at least five minutes then plug back in and see if this helps.

LG TV 42LB1DR INITIALIZATION PROBLEM

mine did the same thing once, I unplugged it long enough to make sure it shuts down all the way and let it reset itself. Turned it back on and it was and is fine [it's been 2 mos. now] That worked this time.
Last time one of my kids spilled something down the back and it gradually went out. 600.00 to have the part replaced.
