FRONT LOAD WASHER samsung model WF338AAW/xaa

Washer code says NF. According to book that means that it is not getting enough water but I've cleaned screens and the water level is correct. The washer runs for 2 minutes then code NF comes up again. Pause and restart like the instructions say, 2minutes code NF returns. Where do I go from there?.

Water Supply Error occurs when water level frequency does not show changes more than 100Hz or water is not supplied up to the preset water level after 10 Minutes or more at the time of initial water supply. The error status can be cleared by turning the POWER switch OFF and back ON.

SOURCE: I washed a load with extra rinse & stain clean

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
It is possible that there is a drainage problem.

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

SOURCE: nf pops up on the screen & the washer stops

The "nf" code is a "no-fill" fault. This indicates that your washing is not getting water supplied to it, or the pressure isn't substantial enough to complete a fill. You need to, first, make sure the water supply is turned on. Second, if the water IS turned on, and you're still not getting anything to your washer, you may have a fill valve problem. The fill valve is what both your hoses connect to on the back of the machine. It can become clogged with sediment over time (especially, if you have hard water or well water). Turn the water supply off and remove both hoses from the back of the washer. Check both these hose connections for clogs in the filter screens. If they are clear, then more than likely the fill valve has gone bad. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: I have a Samsung VRT front load washer, it was

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

First is to empty the water out. This can be done by following my (complete) general guidance notes below for checking the drain motor lint tray/filter and the motor.
'nf' means NO FEED and what happened afterward indicates that the water feed control valve is malfunctioning, initially not opening for water to be fed but then sticking open.
So follow these notes, particularly those in capital letters, to find how to empty the washer, and to check the state of the filter which is needed on a regular basis anyway ;-0)
Next will be a call to a service engineer to sort out the suspect valve.Sorry ;-0(

I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

NF and 4E = No Water Feed = Washer Not Filling. This means that there is an issue that is preventing your washer from receiving water into the water inlet valve. The troubleshooting steps below apply to all types of Samsung washing machines including front load, top load, and washer and dryer combos

What does error NF mean in front loading machine?

NF stands for No Flow. Check to see that your valves are open and that water is getting to your washer. If you have water to the washer, you my have a problem with the selenoid valves that control the water flow.

The code nf keeps coming up what does that stand for

NF(No Fill) code indicates that the washer is not getting enough water supply. Check if wwater supply is turned On and water is coming through the pipe. Then the fill valave can be clogged. t can become clogged with sediment over time
Stop the water supply and then remove the hose and then check for any clogs and if they are fine then in your case most probably your fill valve must have gone bad for this problem.Replacing it must solve the issue.

Samsung wf328aaw

According to Samsung:

Your Washer has tried to fill but
was unsuccessful.

Make sure the water faucets are open all the
way. Check for kinked hoses.
Check the inlet screens on the fill hoses.

Of course, other things can cause the same code. Timer not supplying power to the water solenoids, solenoid water valve is defective, etc.
I would try hot fill, cold fill, warm fill. The above are the obvious.
