SOURCE: the monitor shuts off. Turning the power off

the monitor is going into power saving mode ... it can happen if it is not receiving any signal from the pc ( pc is not running or booted properly, bad video cable connection monitor to pc) or the pc is itself in suspend/standby mode.

Blue tint means taht you may have bad video cable or bent pins, check both ends of the video cable first and also try flexing the video cable to see if the problem will gome and go.

My car Ford Territory 2007 iCC unit problem

Unfortunately, if the ICC unit screen has turned white, it is likely that the unit has failed and needs to be replaced. If the car is still under warranty, you may be able to get a new ICC unit from the manufacturer or your local dealer. If not, you can look for a replacement unit online or at an auto parts store.

How do I get a ICC profile for this Xerox 6360DN printer ?

I don't believe there is an ICC profile for this printer.
It is considered a "Office Color printer" for printing word documents and spreadsheets and occasionally print pictures...it is not a graphics printer or something you would want to do color matching on.

I`m trying to run adobe photoshop and it says aoc 919profile appears to be defective...plz rerun ur moniter calibration software.....my moniter didn`t come with software

Here's how to fix this:

Go to Control Panel -> Color Management.
In the Devices tab you'll see the Display: ThinkPad Display (resolution) - (graphics card)associated with the TPLCD.icm ICC profile.

This profile is the one conflicting with Adobe Photohop.
What I did was choose another profile that doesn't conflict.

Check the "Use my settings for this device" box, press the "Add..." button, select the other ICC Profile (the one that appears to me is sRGB IEC61966-2.1) and set it as the default profile.

I am the Graphic Artist and Printer for a public library. We have a logo that has the Pantone color PMS 375 green in it. I mix my own inks and have no problem reproducing the color properly on a printing...

Laser printers, although they have a larger color gamut than a CMYK offset press, still will not be able to reproduce a majority of Pantone special colors.
Professional inkjet printers, especially those using more than 4 inks, are far better at this - the ink pigments are more color-pure and concentrated than those in laser toners.
Remember, that Windows print drivers work in RGB, and use ICC profiles to convert color data to CMYK components for printer. If you have a CMYK file, and look at it on your monitor, it's converted (using monitor ICC profile) to monitor's RGB colorspace, and then back to CMYK with the printer ICC profile when printed. Converted twice with ICC, which always introduces distortions...
If you have a properly calibrated monitor, and a good printer profile installed, you have better chances of reproducing screen colors on the printer, especially if you work in RGB.
As a simple, but laborious solution, I would suggest preparing "swatch sheets" yourself using some graphics software. Preferrably in RGB, not CMYK. A series of gradients with the green component going from, say, half way to maximum, and other components in various combinations, like R0 B0, R10 B0, R20 B0,... then R0 B10, R10 B10, R20 B10... and so on. Print those, and try to find a spot in the gradients that is the closest to your color sample, and then make swatches with smaller increments around that color to find the best RGB combination.
Good luck :)

Prints light purple instead of grey

I think your Black Cartridge is Empty. Check it and replace it with the new one.

Your Printer is trying to produce Black Colour from your Colour Cartridge with a mix of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow.

Could not read the ICC profile. Saving image canceled.

ICC = International Color Consortium.

The ICC's should be installed in the default printer directory.

Also, you may want to check the printer profile. In printer properties under the "color management" tab check to see if automatic or manual is highlighted. If manual is highlighted, be sure the print profile matches that of the paper you are using. You can select any of the included profiles as the default or add your own from a third source. Such third-source profiles are most often specified by your software provider

Bizhub C250/252 ICC Color Profile

HI i am fron DPI Grafica SH and have made test of diferents ICC profiles.
I will tell you how is my system to get to correct colors an sharp texts.

First - i print fron Adobe Ilustrator or Adobe PDF Profesional. If you have your file in Corel Draw export it to pdf or Publish a PDF File.

Second - I select s"sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1" this profile prints acurate fonts and colors that match whit de monitor. Is a little bit desaturate if you compare with " COATED Foagra". This one prints blurry fonts and blur edges.

This is the best result that i can get after print tests with all de ICC profiles.

Greetings and i hope that you can solve this problem.

Nolasco.

What is ICC profile?

ICC profile can be used in any ICC aware application or platform, and describes usable information to convert into a color space which defined by ICC (International Color Consortium). DiMAGE A1 has a function to embed ICC file to the captured image. Please make use of the function "Embedded Adobe RGB" to use correct color information on application software which corresponds to color management system.
