Question about Nintendo GameCube Console
After playing for approx half an hour, the game freezes. I can still see graphics on the screen, but the screen is frozen (music will still play though). After a few minutes of this the screen goes black, but the music is still going. I have tried opening the lid while the screen freeze happens (disc is still spinning) but this does not work. Im thinking the graphics card may be on the way out? Reminiscent of other Nintendo console faults (ie the NES & SNES) Suggestions much appreciated. judsim
It doesn't sound like something that can happen - the graphics card dying.....
It just doesn't sound possible.. the only thing I can think of, if that were the case, would be if you removed the heatsink while modchipping your machine, and it gets too hot... if that's the case, you may want to get some thermal paste and put some inbetween the graphics chipset and heatsink....
It sounds to me like the game

PS3 Freezing
If your PS3 is freezing up on games then it can
be solved just by stopping the heat. It is not that tough to fix!
Check out this post to see a full solution:
It should only take you 1
hour to fix this.
Hope this helps?
