Just bought a new dell and this wont find the camera

This is under Windows Vista The software installs fine, but then when it come time to find the camera and connect to it at the last step of the installation wizard, it just sits there and blinks over and over and over that its connecting. If I hit next during the blinking, it says the camera is installed but then when i run the camera program it says it cant find a camera. The audio wizard also will not work, any ideas? thanks Jerry

I am assuming you have installed the vista driver for the camera, if not http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1794,contentid=10828 If you have, then try it in another usb port and re boot the pc with it connected to see if it finally sees the camera. Sometimes the XP driver works, so give that a try also, but it sounds as if it is not installing the software properly toward the end which may not be registering the camera in the registry, hence why it is not seen as connected hardware.

Many times the older version drivers will work as new released operating systems try to be backwards compatible with software. Try loading the XP software or search the Canon website for updated software for your model.

Im trying to install an old printer on a new vista comp w/o disks

Windows Vista" is your operating system.
I would start by uninstalling (undoing) any of the printer software that you have installed, and try again. It sounds like at this point that you may have bits and pieces of both 'XP' and 'Vista' drivers installed.
Your link is pointing to the right page at Dell, just select the "driver" under the windows Vista tab.
I'm not sure how that software will be packaged, But I assume that it is self installing once you download it. You just click on it to start the installation. Usually you will leave you USB cable to the printer unplugged until after the installation, and then you are prompted to plug it in.
I'm not sure if this will help, but it's difficult to know exactly what you have done to this point.

Computer will not communicate with printer

Ckeck in control panel & se if the driver software installed. It should be listed in Add/remove programs. If it is, power up the piinter & load windows Vista update service. See if Vista has any patches for you're printer. If no, goto Lexmark & go to the driver section for you're P4350 printer software for Vista. While in Vista update, install any updates listed.
Click on the link provided.

Creat a folder on you're desktop & down load the latest driver software in-to the folder you created. Uninstall any Lexmark software that might have been in add/remove programs. Install the driver software you downloaded. If all this still fails, call Lexmark since this is a new printer. The number should be in you're manul. Or you can go here for free support.
