Well, my volume button seems to be stuck on vol. up... All I can see on the screen is the vol. bar all the way up and there is no way to turn it down... Also, the light is frozen on since the vol bar won't go away. I can still switch songs, but I have to hit the buttons about 5 or 6 times to do this. Is there some way I can get the volume button unstuck or fix this, I don't know what could have happened to it...

Hold volume down and power button at the same time with the device powered off and it should take you to a recovery screen, if that does not work try volume up and power, if that does not work hold down vol up and vol down at the same time and then push and hold power, if this does not work, please giv eme some more info about the device
Try some contact clean on the Vol- and Vol down contact switches, either the Vol- contact is dirty or it needs to be replaced. Mats Electronics has contact switches 1-800-628-1118
You could have a problem with Poor Solder Connections on Boards.
I had the same issue. You can use the on screen volume buttons on screen to stop issue and don't use the physical buttons anymore. Watch out about a month after the volume problem started all physical buttons on my DXN7120 stopped working. There are a few reports of this online, I have not found a fix yet.
They volume indicator you are seeing is meant to show the volume of content if it were to be recorded on the cable's dvr. This indicator has no effect on the volume of content as it is being watched. This feature allows recording of sound at a set volume even while the tv is off. It sounds as though you'll just have to use the volume buttons on your tv's remote, though you might want to try seeing if there is alternative set-up for those cable volume buttons.
FIX ZONE @ SOUND - STUCK ON "ZONE 2 - FIX"
1. Press "Amp" button (right side of remote - 1/3 way down)
2. Press "Menu" button (center of remote - 1/2 way down)
3. Press "TV VOL" button (green letters) until "Manual Setup" is displayed on receiver
4. Press "Enter" button (green letters)
5. Press "TV VOL" button (green letters) until "3 Option Menu" is displayed on receiver
6. Press "Enter" button (green letters)
7. Press "TV VOL" button (green letters) until "D Multi Zone" is displayed on receiver
8. Navigate from there
well depends on how far it turns the volume down as to what the cause is and if the volume bar on screen display comes on when the vol. goes down. if it just goes down a little you probably have the "smart sound" setting turned on in the audio menu turn it off and see if prob. goes away. if the vol. bar comes on the screen whenever the vol. goes down the you most likely have a bad button on your front panel and it doesn't have to be the vol. down button. it you think it is the button it would need solder work to be changed most likely shop job.
