1) Create a new folder on your Desktop or in your Pictures folder. This is where you will copy your photo files.

2) Click on File, then New Finder window. Size these finder windows so you can see both of them at the same time. In the second window, go to your computer, and then to the drive that represents the memory card in your camera.

3) Drag and drop to copy the files from the camera's memory card Finder window to the new folder Finder window, dropping the files into the new folder on your computer's hard drive.

4) Use command+tab to change back to iPhoto. Cancel from the import warning window. In iPhoto click on File then Import to Library

5) In the import dialog tell iPhoto to move the photos (not to import them in their current location) so that iPhoto puts the photos in the same place it put your other photos when it imported them directly from the camera.

If you can't do all of these steps, tell me how far you got, and what happened and we can take it from there.

Sdhc not recognized

The EX-Z120 works with MMC and SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work with this camera. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Pc recognises casio Z120 camera but it will not let me download

I open through my computer. Double click the drive (i.e. "G", "F", etc.) Open the DCIM, then open the CASIO (both yellow folders) Hilight the pics (or "edit to select all) - Click on "move these files" then select where you want them moved to. OR click on "copy these files" and do the same. Warning: If you move them, they will be gone from your camera. If you copy them, they will remain in the camera. Hope this helps.

It doesn't matter to the camera what software you have on your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Dark pictures

perhaps the lab is at fault? if iPhoto displays the pics with the correct dark/light profile then it is likely to be right. You can alter the profile in the edit window of iPhoto but it would seem the lab messed up.

What you need to do is download the VLC player off the internet. Do a google search for it and it is a free download. Works great with ibook or any kind of MAC. Also works on PC as well.
