The noise is like a high pitch alarm or alien sounding. It occurs while agitating and spinning. I love my washer and it is still working well. However I know that it is just a matter of time b/4 it breaks completely. Please help. It has been a very dependable machine.

check the motor bushes,and also check for bearings in drum you can check this by lifting the inner drum up and down if you feel a knocking noise then this will be the bearings have worn.
