I just bought a 960 to go with my samsung hp-5053 plasma display. I have tried a few recent dvd'd in the dvd player but everything is poor quality. Even the setup menu copy is jagged looking. I have tried several things but don't seem to ahve the answer. I used the hdmi cable supplied with the dvd. Any ideas?
Check the output setting match your tv's on the dvd settings 720i or 1080i or p

Jagged pictures indicates pixel incorrect
get the screen menu up and adjust the pixel settings

cheak out put on samsung to set it at 720 hdmi out ect might nee dto use red green blue or s video to see menu

On the blu- ray player you have to set it to HDMI in the options or else it wont work

Hi, Check the settings in the TV menu. Set the sharpness abit higher. Also if you have already you need a set top box (PVR) to view digital signal and to record it as well. Good luck.
