Check the battery voltage. If it's less than 12.2 volts, you've either got a charging problem or something is draining the battery. Read this post on how to find a battery drain.

My 2001 durango stereo worked fine on the way home from work. The next morning, neither the clock or the radio would operate and they have not since then. Radio fuse in panel next to drivers door is good.

I have the same problem, after couple days of not driving it the battery went dead. After charging it back up the radio worked again, but then started doing some other freaky things. Any solutions out there?

Electrical Short???

Has the stereo been changed recently? If not move to the cigerett lighter. These two are most likely the prob. But you could have a bare wire anywhere grounding out. Good luck and hope you find it.
