Hi. I have got a camcorder NV-DS27B. And wanna import moving image from camera to my PC [Power Book G4]. I don't have DV cable [fire wire?]now. am finding the cable 4-pin to 6-pin,but could find only 4 to 4-pin cable dealing with NV-DS27B in the panasonic store. am very confusing is any 4to6 pin cable possible to import??? or How can I get? And also If I get the cable, can I import directly to PC without anything to do? Please help me!!! too much confusing.
Hi, just get a firewire card (IEEE 1394 ) card for powerbook (pcmcia card).it has got a cable to connect to your mini-dv cam ,use any video editing program to get the import function.. You will get 100% DVD quality videos from your cam all the best my friend sreejith

I don't think it will be possible to import moving image (live video). I have got a digital camera and all of those pin cables, but the result is nothing. The only one way (at least I suppose that) to do what you want is to have a web cam. Those cams are specialized devices to import moving image to computers.
