How do you change a wore out battery in a FL5w10 Stanley spot light? Battery only holds charge for about 20 minutes.

Battery only holds charge for twenty (20) minutes. How do you change the battery?

you will find with the age of the bike that the coil is probably caput. this camn be changed with a lot of brute force and ignorance. it is behind the crank housing and will only come off with a crank puller, this should solve your probs.

no not a more powerful one,unfortunately im going to tell you,acer is garbage the bottom of the barrel.i would,nt give it to my enemy.really dont waste your time with that thing.sell it junk it get what you can and find something else.you get what you pay for.spend a little extra cash and you,ll be happy and stress free,with long battery life and better laptop come with better battery upgrades.good luck,godbless,hope i helped

2004 Nissan Altima 3.5L BATTERY LIGHT went on during 15 minute drive. Next day car "died" while idling after a 20 minute drive. BRAKE WARNING LIGHT & BATTERY LIGHT on prior to full electrical failure.
Start with checking the alternator voltage with a multimeter. With the car off check the voltage in the battery which should be holding 12v charged less if flat of course then start the car and test the battery again. If the alternator is good you should be getting a reading of 14 to 14.5 v if it's the alternator it'll A) not put any charge into the battery or B) be a very low voltage being anything under 13.5 v

How do I get my Stanley 2m series spotlight to Charge?
To take the charge the inbuilt battery must be functional. Once the battery goes bad you will be unable to charge the unit or it will take a small charge and die rapidly thereafter.

You may or may not be able to change the battery. It depends on the manufacturer of the product so you should consult the instructions that came with the item if you still have them.

The stanley 1M wont stay on more then a minute. Is fully charged. Have to keep turning it back on. Any fix or just throw it a waw

How long do i have to charge the stanley j309 300 amp battery booster
Before the first use, the unit must be charged for 24 hours with a connection to an AC outlet (120V). Make sure that all of the switches are off. After that, stop charging when two red and one green LED Battery Status Indicators light.

If you are recharging the unit from a 12V battery, do not charge for more than 6 hours. (Check for a full charge by disconnecting the DC charging adapter and then press the Battery Power Level button.)

My Toshiba Satellite A55-S106 laptop doesn't hold a charge in the battery for very long. When I attach AC power to charge the battery, my indicator light is orange for about 10 minutes and then changes...
I think it's your battery.
But, Download this and let it determine if it is/has faile (it's a trial version). If so Google it an buy one. Here are three random sites.

Why when I put my paslode battery on to charge does the charger lights keep flashing green red, not just stay on green or red is the battery faulty

Need to change the batteries in a Stanley bar flex light. lost instructions. how do you change the batteries.
I know this thread is old, but I just had to change the battery pack in mine. I could not locate a 4 pin battery pack so here's what I did:

You'll need: 3 NiMH 1.2v AA solder tab batteries, Razor blade, #1 Phillips driver, Kapton tap (standard electrical tape will do), soldering gun/iron, spare 18awg wire
1. Use a razor blade to remove the black sticker from the bottom of the flashlight base, it covers the magnets
2. remove the three outer phillips screws (the inner ones hold the magnets in and can stay installed)
3. Pull off the bottom plate
4. Pull out the battery pack and disconnect it from the flashlight at the 4-pin queeze connector
5. Remove the outer wrap and end protectors from the old pack keeping the end protectors in tact
6. Assemble the 3 new batteries in the same configuration as the old pack using Kapton tape, connecting + to - at the same two spots (use the old pack as a reference)
7. Carefully desolder the 2 wire leads from the old battery pack
8. connect up the 2 power wires to the same two spots as the old pack and insert the temperature probe between two of the batteries as in the old pack
9. Put the end caps on the new pack and wrap the entire thing in Kapton tape to simulate the plastic wrapper you removed
10. Install pack in to base, secure bottom plate and re-adhere black sticker(if needed you can use non-foam double-sided tape or spray adhesive)

The old pack was rated at 1300mAh and I used three 2000mAh each for a total of 6000mAh so theoretically the light should run for about 6 times as long between charges.

PSP battery wouldn't hold charge so I bought a new one. It, too, will not hold a charge. I can only play if it is plugged into the wall. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I out of luck???
What's wrong is the bronze or copper or gold inside the psp (where the battery is technicaly connected) is either missalagned or it simply is wore out but i doubt it is wore out.

Need to know what the lights mean on a makita dc24sa charger
• When the battery cartridge is inserted, the charging light color will change from green to red and charging will begin.
The charging light will remain lit steadily during charging.
• One red charging light indicates charged condition in 0 – 80% and two red ones indicates 80 – 100%.
• With finish of charge, the charging lights will change from two red ones to two green ones.
• The charging time is as follows:
Battery B9017A, BH1220, BH1420, BH9020A: approx. 20 minutes.
Battery B2417, BH1233, BH1433, BH2420, BH9033A: approx. 30 minutes.
Battery B2430, BH2433: approx. 60 minutes.
