I got this Toshiba gigabeat® MEG-201 (20 GB) MP3 Player from a friend. I tried to transfer music to it but there isn't a program that offers anything. I was wondering if you knew anything that would register this thing as an mp3 player. It treats it like an external hard drive instead of a mp3 player.
Any help would be great.
I have the same problem. The thing is that you need a software that coverts your Mp3s to .sat I have looked forever now but havet found one still. I belive that you have to use a japanees software(according to my friend I got mine from).

Hi Gladys M Ortiz Yes you can transfer your music to your toshiba gigabeat. But you will have to convert the format first.,because Itunes uses a ACC format...you will need a WMA or MP3 format to play on your MP3 player. Go to the following webpage and download your FREE format converter. Please take time to rate me Bud http://formatoz.com/
To transfer music files to your gigabeat, simply connect it to the PC via USB cable. A gigabeat window will pop up on your screen and will direct you to WMP 11 (make sure to click the "Complete" button, or it will not take you to WMP 11). Once you're in WMP 11, assemble the list of music you wish to transfer and press "Sync". The program will automatically begin transferring data to your gigabeat.
