Check the Flyback Transformer

and associated circuits.

If 2SK2996 is blown, it may take out the PWM IC and some components

that goes with it.

Let me know what you find or needs further assistance.

MY SANSUI SV2918 ITS ONLY STANDBY BUT SPEAKERS ARE SOUDING TA-TA-TA-TA

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

My Sansui SV2918 has vertical collapse and no sound. Please help.

Sansui.. Funai made?? Most Funai sets are identical. Find a diagram for a similar TV. Or.. Google the part# of the output IC. The datasheet should contain application data, including a basic schematic of the vertical cicuit.

I have a sansui tv model sv2918,it doesn't play

The TV has some firmware defect. Seek tech support.
Unplug it from AC mains wall socket, and plug it again after 5 minutes. This must make it a hard reset.

Powersupply Faulty

Check for short circuit on your Powersupply. If you can isolate it, much better. check the voltage regulator if it supplies power to the system. better still check the regulator itself.
