Need diget code one remote comply ge commercial skip tv

There is usually a booklet with the remote that gives you the codes for a whole list of current devices.
The older uni-remotes had a "learn" button where you press it and hold it down while pointing it at your TV or DVD, it learns the commands from your TV and beeps or flashes when done.
OR.....
Go to the Remotes' website and look for the codes there, usually a string of numbers that comply with your TV....uni-remotes have codes for practically everything anyway.

:),a tv does not use either play or stop commands,in most universal remote u need to set the apropriate code for the tv set so u can use volum,chanells and other tv specific commands.
In order to do that u need the manual!!! many china remotes have printed on the back of the box a long list or have a very thin paper hide in the box eith several codes.
good practice:a universal remote use a SET button and a TV button,that if u press at the same time will enter the mode set tv code.if u don,t have the code,press once again set after set+tv,will enter the scan mode,keep the remote pointed on the tv,if lucky after a short time(1 minute) the remote scanned and found the tv so u can enjoy some commands.many tv set have comun codes that will make a remote with no apropriate set to stop in a not full mode,so u only will acces part of the commands...post video and fotos

To get its original remote control and user manual, you have to contact the nearest authorized service center for GE

i have a sru2103/27 philips universal remote and i need the 4 diget code for a ge tv.

1. On the front of the TV press the MENU button to display the MAIN MENU.
   
2. Scroll through the choices using the VOLUME up and down buttons
3. When positioned on the selection you want press the MENU button again.
4. The first SETUP screen displays, asking you to select a language.
5. Scroll to the desired language ENGLISH, FRANCAIS or ESPANOL and once it is highlighted in green press the MENU button to make finale selection.
6. A SETUP screen appears asking if you would like the TV to search for all channel
7. 1. Yes
   2. Skip this step
   3. 0 Exit
8. Complete the SETUP routine or skip any of the steps and return to them later.

It would help to know year of manufacture but you can try these for the tv

Do you have the remote control for your TV? If so, try to program again your TV and if nothing happen, replace the eproom and the the tuner.

When a commercial comes on, you press the "Commercial Skip" button on the remote. Then you see a 30-second countdown timer appear on the screen. If you think there will be more than 30-seconds of commercials, then press the button more (each time you press adds 30 seconds to the on-screen timer -- usually I press it 4 to 5 times). The timer stays counting down on the screen while you change channels during the commercials to see what else is on. When the timer counts down to 0, it is erased from the TV screen and the TV automatically changes you back to the channel it was on when you pressed the commercial skip button. I use this feature a lot! I wish all TV's had it built in. Some universal remotes have a similar (but more awkward feature) where the remote has the timer inside it, and it sends a signal back to the TV when the count is up, but I don't think this would work as well.
