Shortly after making some standard bagged popcorn (using the "Popcorn" feature), the microwave window shattered. This is a new unit; only in place for a week, and this was the first time using the referenced feature. The repair tech comes tomorrow to fix, but I am curious as to what we cause such a problem.
Doubt anything to do with popcorn. glass like that does sometimes shatter probably a stress fracture. quite often happens with oven doors as well
