Question about Maytag Dependable Care LAT9706
I cannot get the machine to agitate on regular settings it will fill but will not agitate it only agitates on the delicate cycle
The selector switch for loads is just a switch that connects parts of the timed cycle to the timer circuit. if the timer is not rotating then nothing will work. check the connections through the selector switch. burnt or melted contacts within the switch calls for a new switch. try repair clinic dot com for a replacement.

Usually answered in minutes!
Washer only agitates at one speed for all settings. The speed is the same for delicate, heavy, normal, etc. no change in agitation speed when setting is changed from one type wash to another
