Question about Philips 15MF605T 15 in. LCD Television

Sound but blank white screen

My TV screen turned completely white while watching a DVD last night. I just turned it off because I assumed the DVD was scratched or something, but today when i turned it on again while the DVD player was off it was still white. The sound works perfectly well but the screen is completley blank. SOS!

No pic but sound :/

You are having a high voltage problem. Quite possibly in the horizontal deflection. I would check the horizontal output and regulator transistors.

Won't turn off unless unplugged

Ther eis a stand by function on the Television. If you have the owners manual read about that function. Th ered light stays on because it is programed to come on a t a certain time. Go to menu and find the stand by function.
