Question about Kenmore Oasis HE 27082 Top Load Washer

1 Answer

Power trouble My Kenmore Elite Oasis quit working in the middle of a cycle. There is water still in the tub. It seems like the computer part of it is bad. When I can get it to come on, lights randomly flash and I can't get the lid to unlock. Is there a way to manually unlock the washer until I can get a reapir person out, which is in a week.

I will have to try to take the top assembly off. When I plug it back in, I have to hold the power button on for a few seconds to get any kind of response. Then what comes on are the lights on the wash cycle knob and they all flash. Nothing happens when I try to press other buttons. Thanks.

Marsha, is the machine giving you any error codes? First try opening it by going into the test mode. Turn the washer off, turn it back on and press any key except start/stop/power in this sequence. Press and hold for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press and hold for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press and hold for 3 seconds. All lights should light and 88 should appear in the display. When this happens press the same button again. You will now be in the manual test mode. If you don't press the same button it will go into the auto test mode. While in the manual test mode, the second rinse button will toggle the lock on and off. See if this works, If not you will have to push in on the two clips just below the top on each side. Between the top and bottom panel. They are strong clips and you have to push hard with a putty knife while pulling up on the top. The whole top assy. will lift up and you can remove your clothes. Kenmore elite model 11027052602 clothes wet after spinning cycle why

You might have a restriction in the outlet hose. Worse, you might have a bad pump.
It is easy to check for the constriction. Pour water into the tub, set the timer for the spin cycle and watch how strong/fast the water leaves the hose. Check for water beneath the tub.

Hello Kimberley,
It appears that a part of your question is cut off so i may be off base here but what i am reading is that your washer will go through the wash cycle and drain the wash water then just quit?? is that what is happeningIf yes that is whats going on i think what is happening is that after the wash cycle it fills with only COLD WATER for the rinse cycle and its not filling with the rinse water and just sits their until the rinse cycle water is filled and if its not getting cold water into the washer its not going to do anything If it is filling with cold water my apologies my bad for misinterpreting what the question reads and i ask ya to re-ask it.

Washer stops in middle of cycle. Comes up with code d5. My wife pushed something on and off 3 times and came up with a code of f71

some machines come with a reset program but not all. Suggest you pull the plug out and wait 20 min untill washer has totally discharged. In the mean time, try and drain the water from the tub. Take note if the drain pump motor is working as well. Retry a wash program..

F51 error

Hello, the F51 code is a motor rotor position sensor failure. It's best to call in the warranty service as there is a bunch of tests that need to be run to determine if it's the sensor or control board. If the tech wasn't any help, contact the store for a replacement.

Thanks

Machine just died in middle of cycle. will not

first of all take the waste pipe out from the back of the washer which goes to the outside drainage, make sure you have a bucket to catch all the water that comes out,the lower the pipe the faster it will come out, then you will be able to open the door, and the problem that you have with it stopping in middle of cycle is that the bushes are worn on the motor, these are easy to replace and cost about £10.00
