I had to do this on my 1988 F250, if I remember correctly:

Remove in this order:

Driveshaft, Starter, lower cover plate, transmission, torque converter.

Flywheel s/b bolted to converter.

When driveshaft is removed - plug gap in tranny output - between drive shaft and housing - to prevent fluid spillage.

When removing transmission - plug hole in converter to prevent spillage.

When handling converter hold it flywheel side down until - to avoid fluid loss.

I presume you have all the correct tools and a helper.

hope it goes well

In two parts. 40^77 is a 124-digit number, too large for the calculator to handle. But you can calculate it by separating it into (4^77)*(10^77).

Calculating 4^77 gives about 2.28*10^46. 10^77 is just that, 10^77. To multiply the two together, simply add the exponents to get 2.28*10^123.

You don't really need the calculator for this one:

77 = 9/5c + 32

-32 -32

45 = 9/5c

*5 *5

225 = 9c

*1/9 *1/9

therefore:

c = 25

Now to test that value, plug in the c value:

77=9/5(25) + 32

77=45 + 32

77=77 correct so c=25

77 = 9/5c + 32

-32 -32

45 = 9/5c

*5 *5

225 = 9c

*1/9 *1/9

therefore:

c = 25

Now to test that value, plug in the c value:

77=9/5(25) + 32

77=45 + 32

77=77 correct so c=25

Take 7744 / 187 and round this number down. This would be 41, this tells us that 187 "fits" 41 times into 7744. We then take 187 * 41 which is 7667, then subtract it from the origional number so 7744 - 7667 = 77. Thus, 7744 mod 187 is 77.
