You can get the new iPhone 5 from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. It will cost you $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB. Each of these cellphone providers offer different plans, so you should check the advantages of each one of them before buying the iPhone 5.

Since I bought my phone (W6930, Blackberry) I don't know what's the phone lock code thus I wanted to know whats the phone lock code for it so that I can have privacy from my friends.

Most cellphone carriers lock the phones so that they canonly be used by there own customers. For example, if you tried to use aT-Mobile phone with a Cingular service plan, it wouldn't likely work. Anunlocked phone is simply one that the carrier has not locked. Since most cellphones are sold through the carriers, at a subsidized price, they need to havesome assurance that you will not leave without completing your contract and goto another carrier. To unlock a phone, is to simply enter the correct codes sothat it will work with any carrier. It is possible to both buy unlocked phones,as well as unlock existing codes. Buying an unlocked phone would typically meanbuying it from someone other than a carrier.i got unlock code from here http://www.prounlocking.com/and unlocked my mobile..

Phone restricted when i added a new sim card to cellphone nokia 3220

HI

A restriction code is numeric code (password) that prevents a user from accessing certain technical settings of a phone. It is specifically designed to prevent a phone from being reprogrammed to work with a different carrier (service provider).

This is what is usually meant when a phone is referred to as "locked". There are also "unlocked" phones that can be reprogrammed to work with a different carrier.

The reason for this system is the way phones are often sold. Many phones are sold below cost, (at a loss to the carrier,) with the expectation that the money will be recouped in the cost of the monthly service plan. The up-front loss that is later recouped is called a Subsidy.

For this to work financially for the carrier, the user must not buy the phone and then use it with a different carrier. The MSL makes that nearly impossible.

Unlocked phones are ususally much more expensive than locked phones, because there is no subsidy to offset the cost.

You should ask the operator for the restriction code

Network and battery problem

After a cellphone has been submerged in water/significantly wetted, it should be considered scrap and sent back for refurbishment. There is no telling what problems getting the cellphone wet introduced. If you have insurance through your carrier, it is typically a $50 non-refundable fee and a new phone will be shipped to you within a week. Otherwise, you would be better off buying a phone either from the carrier or a reputable reseller for full price than trying to have it "fixed."
