Forgot vchip passcode

dont know the family pass-code to my X-box so i can't play any games or watch movies

keep guessing. Nobody knows it but you. And you forgot it.

if that is a password for the xbox live passcode, the passcode being asked everytime you sign in, the password is the password itself when you try to recover your gamertag

if that is a passcode for watching videos, or something.

that is a family settings passcode, the only way to override that is to call tech support, give the console serial number of your xbox of course, the serial number has a unique reset code attached to it..
tech support will give you some things to press on sytem info page of the dashboard to reset the family settings

I assume the picture after viewing your "certain movie" you have a snowy type of picture with sound? This is because your "certain movie" will have a bad section or worn section of tape & is making the heads dirty. Is there a part of the "certain movie" that gives wavy lines or the picture breaks up? If a tape is constantly used it causes the oxide coating of the tape to flake & dirty your heads. You could try a head cleaning tape although these sometimes do not do a thorough clean.

Try holding down th volume up key and the enter at the same time. Let me know if this works or not, trying to figure out some new codes that where relased from diffrent manfactures.

most vchips need to be reset internally but now i am finding out more ways.
