try this

we will go for a clean install for win7
save all your important data before going for the clean install

turn on your computer and then start tapping F10 key, then you will get select boot device screen]

insert the white disk( on the win7 pask)
select the one which is mentioned as DVD and then hit enter
it will start installing the fresh copy of win7
from here you only have to follow the screen

try downloading the compatible acer aspire webcam software for your laptop. My laptop is also acer. It is aspire 4730z and it works perfectly fine. I think the software you are using is not compatible with your laptop.

Also most aspire models have lesser durability webcams. It gets really annoying when webcams of aspire won't work. I completely understand your situation.

Just follow my instruction and it will work perfectly fine.

In order for you to utilize the web cam you first have to download a piece of software that supports the web cam. And if want want to use your web cam for pics be sure the download will support that as well. Some downloads support chat and web cam only and some do both.
Check out downloads by Bison, Message Yahoo and more... Just Google what you want and see what it comes up with. I'm sure there are others out there that can help you alot better than I can, but theres a start. Good luck... BTY most of these down loads are nearly free if not 100% free

No driver for cd is needed. However Acer Europe - Service & Support, Drivers & Utilities, Downloads, Notebook, Aspire 5315 is where you can find all that you need
