My Microphoto was working fine, and I docked it
in the travel dock and a friend pulled it out without turning it off, when I put it back into the dock it played a few songs then froze. It will only turn on, if i plug it in to the comp, the comp doesnt recognize it. My
husband did speak with a tech support person
previously, but wasnt able to get the problem
resolved. He did everything they asked us to do as far as rebooting and reformatting it's still not working. The tech support people are not very helpful when it comes to repairing or even sending back. I would like to fix rather than pay another 200.00 for another one. Please help.. thank you

Re:
If your Zen is dead, wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN take the battery out and put back in, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause."

Turn your iPod off as quickly as possible after it becomes
wet. The longer your device is on after it gets wet, the more likely it
is to suffer severe or irreparable damage. Do not turn it on to see if
it works; running power through the device can cause more damage. Dock Station
First of all, did you fully charge the battery using the A/C adapter before initial use? If your ipod does not fit with any of the attachments correctly, try just placing it on the dock without the attachment & it should connect fine just be sure it's connecting to the dock properly. I have the ipodnano 2nd generation & the attachments don't work, but it fits on the dock well without the attachments & works great!
Transfer songs to your player only with SonicStage. If you did with other software, format the player from the menu and transfer songs from SonicStage. Sonicstage can be downloaded here under SonicStage. Make sure you install the security update after installing the software...
