I bought my girlfriend a V3c, I think last month. The first few days it was working fine, but then after about a week or so, the phone started to slow down (for example, getting to a menu would take a lot longer than usual, making a phone call, or she would not get text messages).
Is there anyway that I can correct this problem?

If Verizon bought out alltel, the simplest thing to do now is dial 611 for customer care and ask them.
Once a company buys another company, their customer care auto-redirects to the new company. So you can ask them.
I don't have alltel where I'm at (Oregon) so I can't fully answer that.
depending on if you have verizon or not you can do this using motorola phone tools if you have verizon then you'll have to modify your phone a bit before motorola phone tools will work with it http://mark.cdmaforums.com/V3C-1.htm is a site that can help you with that but be warned it will void any warenty you have
