Your mp3 player is so full that it does not even have enough space to run a Repair. Connect the Philips to the computer, double-click My Computer, right click the Philips icon, and select Format --> Fat32 (or whatever is appropriate for your computer). Normally, I would not reccomend this type of formatting for a Philips, but it is probably our only chance at this point. After conducting the format, try the Repair in Philips Device Manager again.

Warning: All of your songs/files will be erased.

Hi, I have Moser Baer MP3 player, model number is MP 582-2G. Its not working. Whenever I connect it to computer, I get a error message saying USB Device not recognized/no drivers are installed. Please...

Try this on another PC to confirm if the memory is recognized and detected. If not the player needs to be reset or there are faults within the processor/memory which needs to be estimated with a consensus.

2.1 Run the execute file Device Manager for installing the Device Manager toolbox.
3. Run Philips Device Manager:
  1. Having launched Philips Device Manager at Start -> Programs -> Philips Digital Audio Player -> SA2XXX -> Philips SA2XXX Device Manager on your PC
  2. Connect your player to the PC
  3. Device Manager should acknowledges your player and automatically goes into recovery mode.

How can i get my coby mp-610 stop saying file system error???

View MP-610:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=prod&prod_num_id=212&pcat_id=1001

Manual:
http://www.cobyusa.com/files/manuals/MP610_MN.pdf
Quick setup guide:
http://www.cobyusa.com/files/setupguide/MP610_SG.pdf

File system error refers to incomplete startup often due to low battery, faulty firmware or not matching files in the player.

When the startup failed try point 1.Resetting and 2.Charging:

1. Try to reset using the reset button hole on the backside (8).
299c492.jpg 2. Make a connection with the computer and have the device charging for a long period, full load needs 8 hours. Make connection directly to the USB of the computer preferred at the backside of the computer.
When using a laptop see to it that the USB is powered: laptops often switch the USB off going to sleep op hibernate mode.

When this didn't solve the problem, perform a format and reinstall of the firmware, point 4 - 8:
4. Connect the player to the computer and backup your data to the computer using the Windows explorer: copy MUSIC, MOVIE, PHOTO and TEXT directory to a location on the computer.
5. Format the removable disc of the player in Windows explorer.
Check your removable disk having its full memory capacity free after format.
6. Download the firmware for the player: firmware download for MP-610 ( zip file ):
http://www.cobyusa.com/files/software/MP610_Firmware.zip
7. Unzip the file: once unzipped there's a pdf instruction added in the zip file how to perform the firmware update.

8. After the firmware reinstallation the player is ready for transferring
data again. Remember the requirements for the format of files that is put on the player.

Go gear not working

Install and run Device Manager from the product CD.

Select the repair option, and follow the on-screen prompts.

NOTE: ALL FILES LOADED ON TO THE PLAYER WILL BE LOST.

If this doesn't work then it may be that the hard disk is faulty. There is an easy way to find out. The following procedure allows the player to connect to the PC as a removable drive. If the Pc reads the drive, then the drive is ok.

Connect the HDD1630 to the mains adaptor and the PC.

Before the computer has a chance to recognise the player, press "Power" and "Vol +" to reset the player.

As soon as the player resets (screen goes blank) press and hold "Vol -" until the PC recognises the player as a removable drive.

Try to access the player through "My Computer" as you would the main hard disk.

ZEN V PLUS REMOVABLE DISK MANAGER NONFUNCTIONAL??

try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?
