No the drivers for win98 will not get installed in win7 or win vista... You can try to download and install the latest drivers if available in the support site of your Mp3 player...
Hi, You can download the drivers from the below link, then run the exe file. Install your player first on the machine & then start downloading http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/downloads.aspx?product=98
Please let us know if that was helpful enough.
get pc with usb 2.0 port, and at least win 2000 professional on it get mp3 player get install cd for mp3 player (if you have one)
boot up, plug in player, wait for recognition by win2K or above, then treat as if it was an usb-stick or external harddisk: erase the files you want or format it all to have it blank, copy new files
if not, run hardware detection via device manager, if windows does detect unknown device, let it find driver from the hardddisk or win setup-cd/dvd, install, try to find as harddisk
or run install from mp3-related cd, choose the right driver fitting your operation system, install remove mp3-player, reboot, repug, win should now find it automatically!
now erase the music files(mp3's) on your player and/or copy new ones, unplug,
Hey, windows 98 doesn't have usb support. you will need to get a driver for you mp3 player from the mp3 makers website, if they don't have a driver for it im sorry it wont work with your computer. you can also contact them and ask for a driver but as windows 98 is no longer supported. its very likely that todays mp3 players wont work with it.
No, right click on the START button at the lower left of your screen, and in the menu that pops up, select 'Explore'. Then, from the left side panel, find your device entry. Now you can drag and drop files into the appropriate folder.
Basically, you dont need a driver unless you are running Windows98. If you have Win 98, try downloading the software from the website, or do a google search for it.
vicbac,
Try here for the recovery software:
http://www.driverstock.com/Acer-MF350-driver-download/4-13-3327-3411/index.html
And here for the binary 'bios'
http://www.acer.com.hk/english/services/download/driver.php?model=MF350B
I have twice recovered my Acer MF-350 (256MB), and this will work with the 128MB version.
Good luck.
