My lexmark X658de mfp says insufficient resources.try again when printer idle. i need solution.

Hi, did you mean:
Insufficient memory to support Resource Save feature?
(This means the MFP lacks the memory needed to enable Resource Save. This message usually indicates too much memory is allocated for one or more of the MFP link buffers)

You can rectify this by:- touch Continue to disable Resource Save and continue printing. Install additional memory

You can get additional memory from Amazon or Ebay.
Just put into your search engine, Memory for Lexmark X658de.

Hope this helps

How do I factory reset a Lexmark x658de?

When you first enter the printer menus from the operator panel, you may notice an asterisk (*)

next to a value in the menus. This asterisk indicates the factory default setting. These settings

are the original printer settings. (Factory defaults may vary for different countries.)

When you select a new setting from the operator panel, the Saved message appears. When

the Saved message disappears, an asterisk appears next to the setting to identify it as the

current user default setting. These settings are active until new ones are stored or the factory

defaults are restored.

To restore the original printer factory default settings:

1 Make sure the printer is on and the Ready message appears.

2 Press Menu until you see Utilities Menu, and then press Select.

3 Press Menu until you see Factory Defaults, and then press Select.

4 Restore appears on the second line of the display.

5 Press Select.

The message Restoring Factory Defaults appears followed by the Ready

message.

When you select Restore:

• No other button actions are available on the operator panel while Restoring
Factory Defaults appears.....

HP laserjet 3600 error message 50.9 Fuser Error

Thank you for the inquiry.
Yes you will probably have to replace the fuser. If this is a new printer still under warranty and the page count has not reached the service life of the fuser, contact HP for warranty replacement. Once the new fuser in installed you will need to restore the service count.

Upon boot up, it doesn't complete, screen goes black, then message firmware error appears.

  • Do an NVRAM reset. Press and hold 6, 7, 8 upon boot up.
  • Boot up printer without network cable, fax line and options, see if error comes up.
  • Get the exact error message.

If problem continues, printer will probably require service. Contact Lexmark technical support(under warranty) or local authorized service provider for professional assistance.
