How to set up password for fujitsu mini router

Well no online manual so it's the hard way.
Get your laptop's IP address. A fast way is to download winipconfig.exe. Search the web for it.
The router's address will be a variant of the laptop's eg 192.x.x.1
enter that address into your browser. You might need to add http://192.x.x.1
The router's web interface should come up.
If a password is requested try resetting the router to factory defaults by locating the pinhole reset button on the back of the router.

When I switch my laptop on and click onto Internet Explorer it then takes 20 mins before I can open my emails my home page is Sky and I am on Wireless

Without a good technician on site to diagnose the problem, there could be a 1000 things wrong, First verify all cables and power sources, laptop connectivity as well (test it on an other wireless network, friend, office, etc..), shut down all devices (router, modem, etc.) than power up all devices, if still not working, than try plugging your laptop directly to the router with an ethernet cable in one of the ethernt ports of the router, this will tell you if there is a problem with the wireless or not, if you have the same problem connected with a wire, than you can verify your (Internet Service Provider) ISP's connectivity by plugging the laptop directly to the ISP's modem with the ethernet cable, (MAKE SURE YOUR ANTI-VIRUS IS UP TO DATE) as you won't have any firewall to protect you, if the problem still persist than call your ISP for support... if the speed is OK at that point, than you should reset the router to factory default and re-configure the router, if you still have a slow connectivity after that than you should replace the router, (assuming all cables ant power sources are good, the laptop's configuration as well)... now you know why a good technician is 65$/hour

Cheers!

Encore Wireless Router Wireless connection problem

You need to have a cable connection from the laptop to the router first then go to the router setting by typing something like 192.x.x.x which differs from router to router. This should be available in the manual or in many cases are printed underneath the router.Once you get to the set up page for the router then you can set up the encryption type and create a key which will be needed by the laptop to connect to the network.Hope this helps.

Hello, hope you can help me. i have a perfectly good wireless router, but my acer aspire laptop cannot use it due to the built in adapter. can u give me instructions to configure so i can use the...

First your router has to picked up the signal in order for it to work. You may need to use an ethernet cable and connect it wired to the laptop..Then once done you will need to access the default router setting which would be something like 192.x.x.x and this would either be mentioned somewhere on the router or the manual..and would have a default username and password.Once in there you can add encryption type, network ssid name, change all sort of things...Make sure you make note of the key and use it when your wireless network ask for this key.Make sure your wireless network card is enabled and/or turned on....Hope this gives you an idea.

Cant get my friends laptop onto my wireless network? Is something set up wrong in my wireless settings? I have my own laptop on my wireless but noone else can get on even when they have my password

Your friends wireless card in the laptop has to be configured with your wireless router's settings, eg. the WEP or WAP encryption, SSID etc.
Check the router's settings and the wireless card settings in your laptop, configure your friend's wireless exactly as your laptop.
