There is a resettable breaker inside the machine that cuts off power to the plasmahead when tripped. Check that and make sure the head is secore to cable and cable is secure to machine.

If it still fails to function check the coil in the contactor to make sure it has not burned out. Also check the pressure switch to make sure it closes contacts to make the circuit when the unit is pressurized If switch is not functional the head will not operate. Also check gas solenoid or solenoids to make sure they do not have burned out coils as well. An Ohmmeter should show about 2000 ohms give or take some. The main contactor winding also. It may be the main contactor needs replacement- a loose power connection can lead to burned contacts. So if you hear the machine click when you press the trigger, but no power to head, and all the other items mentioned still leaves you with no power at the head, that main contactor is the likely culprit.

If IGBT's had failed- they would blow apart part of their plastic case.So a quick visual is usually adequate for those.

I have an Inglis washing m/c mod. #IL42000. It stops cycle (varies what position) then suddenly starts up again (time varies) What is wrong or needs to be replaced. I changed the tmer approx. 3 months

Something is possibly overheating and cutting out? Or due to recent timer change it may be wire connection that's come loose or a wire has got trapped underneath something and cut through the wire causing an intermittent fault.

Ge monogram icemaker ZDIW50YB not cutting ice

Is the cutting grid getting warm if just warm make sure you don't have any loose wires supplying power to grid. Check grid cutting transformer to make sure it is working. make sure grid is clean. If you are getting power to cutting grid and it's not getting warm then cube let cutter grid is bad. If this needs to be replaced you might thank about a new machine the cost for this part is around 480.00 part number AP2068335

Check your plug! I would guess that either the plug is loose or there is a wire loose in the outlet that vibrates off the terminal.

NOTE while you have it unplugged use a #2 eraser to clean corrosion off the prongs of the plug.

Stop working during a wash cycle, power was at the plug

ince the washer is stopping during the fill, wash and rinse cycles, it is possible that you have a failed timer. A loose wiring connection could also cause this problem. Before replacing the timer, I recommend that you unplug the washer and check the wiring connections on the timer for a loose wire. Check the wiring connections on the water level pressure switch as well.

Won't heat

The Breville esp8xl has a wire connector to the heat chamber that can become loose through repeated heat/cool cycles. Opening up the machine, finding this connection, which was loose, blue wire at back of heat chamber, and tightening it fixed my problem.
