My Bluetooth wont be reconized by my phone

My LG HBM-300 is not being reconized on my LG VX8500(chocolate). The phane says to put it in Discovery Mode but I don't know how.

    I am trying to use an LG HBM - 300 headset on a Samsung E370. I have switched on the headset and set the phone to search for a device with no sucsess. Is this because of the diferent manufacturer ?

I found the fix for it. u first must turn the headset off. then hold the power/talk (same button) for 5 seconds or until the headset makes a weird beeping noise not the same noise as powering on. the headset light will blink as the headset light is blinking have the phone discover the headset. it asks for a pin number the pin number is four zeros 0000. and thats it u are all set. i couldn't believe there is no place on the internet to tell u this i had to call lg corporate office.

I am having problems pairing my computer with my phone
hi rsavard7775 does your computer have bluetooth on it. You need to put your phone in discovery mode also. You may need to put the phone in discovery mode. You can also pull the phone into the computer to download your information.

Iwant to change the connection of my lg headset hbm-300 with my new phone
All you have to do is make sure the headset is on and go to your bluetooth menu on the phone and turn on discovery mode. When it finds the headset, you can tell it to pair.

Go into your phone and under your bluetooth settings delete your headset profile. You can now just go through the pairing procedure again and your phone should find the headset and you can click yes pair with this device(headset) and just finnish you pairing. Also make sure you didn't turn your bluetooth power off on your phone by accident.

It sounds as if the device is not paired with your Chocolate. Press and hold the button on the face of the HBM-710 headset for approximately five seconds, or until the light comes on and stays on steadily, then discover the device with your handset's Bluetooth screen. Once it shows up in the list of devices, select in and pair it with your phone.
