Initially it would only start after it sits for a long time and that is only after it was primed manually via the top of the piston. It ran well, but when I cut it off it has not started since. I replaced the piston rings, and cylinder gasket. Now it will not start at all. It ocassionally back fires when I try to start it now from time to time but still will not start. It seems to flood easily and I can see the fuel coming from the back of the carburator down into the air filter. It appears to be fuel that is coming out from the crankcase of the engine because it looks black as though it has been going through the bearings of the crankshaft via the black hose that goes to the bottom of the carburator. It is driving me absolutely crazy trying to figure out why this is not starting. I have been trying to find some type of fuel systems diagram so I can see how the fuel is suppose to go through the engine to reach the top of the piston to get things going. When I take the spark plug out after numerous times of trying to start it......even with the choke wide open the spark plug is very wet when I remove it and examine it. Can anyone PLEASE give me some kind of clue of what is going on with this saw. I am totally lost at this point and need to know if I am overlooking something.

the jets in the carburetor need to be cleaned out very well to operate this engine
the holes in the jets are very small and clog up easily with in a year or two
