V-Chip reset I forgot my password to reset my v-chip. Is there any way I can reset my v-chip? I'd like it turned off. Thankyou

You just do this to unlock your Panasonic TV, and after unlocking it reset the password.

Panasonic sets need to be reset to clear the v-chip settings. To do this, put it in standby mode, then press the POWER and ACTION buttons at the same time and then turn the power off. The set should reset to the factory defaults, and reset the v-chip.

Turn the volume down to 0 then change to a blocked channel. (where it asks for v-chip password) Next, on the TV, not from the remote, hold the volume down button, and hold the '0' key on the remote for between 2-10 seconds... the screen should unlock and you should have no V-Chip restrictions.

i have an insignia hdtv and the manual says if you forgot the password, enter in 3448 in the password box to reset, it might be the same for yours, good luck

The master password is 4737.
Here is the user manual, go to pages 42 to disable or enable the V chip features and Page 60-62 for more info to set up parental password.
