Question about Britax Roundabout

Britax Roundabout I foolishly bought a used britax roundabout for a second vehicle. But trying to install it we cannot get it to recline for the rear facing postion. Of course we read directions and it simply says to pull the lever and recline..is there a trick to this?

Take it completely out of your vehicle and pull the lever and it will recline. Then reinstall it.

Britax voyaga ultra rear brakes can you replace

Not as far as I know (I own a stroller repair company). We can fix BOB brakes, which is owned by Britax, but are unable to buy Britax brake parts.

Have you tried contacting Britax directly?

Maxi cosi car seat with britax b ready

Just place it on the main seat. You can secure it with the Britax adapter straps which are only $8 on amazon. The seat is big enough to hold infant car seats! It's awesome! And. Car seats even fit in the second seat when reclined!

Is the back supposed to be in a fixed position or is it held upright by the back of the seat of the car

There are multiple fixed recline positions. It sounds like your seat is not catching properly once the recline bar is pulled. Please contact Britax (888-427-4829) and make them aware of the situation.

Bought used Britax Marathon and Roundabout carseats, without the manaul. Need directions on how to install- rear facing for now, but will need directions on forward facing as well.

Go to the Britax website they have a pretty detailed explaination. Basically use the latch clips put your knee in it and pull tight. where you get the real security is though the tether that comes of the back of the headrest, you attach that to the floor clip in your car or under the front seat if you dont have one.

Recline only works for ISO fit, basically put your hand into seat slot and grab the handle, push/pull to recline the seat

Britax Roundabout car seat thigh strap adjustments

Carseats werent made for all the extra stuff we have to put on our kids. So will have to take your little one in and out of the snow siut in the car. I have an auto start button on my keys so I can warm the car before we go out there, so I can take my little one out of his warm wear in the car. Its just a headache putting them back in it once you get to your destination.

Stuck in recline

I know this post is old but I figured somebody w/the same problem might come across this. I had the same problem with my Marathon today. I also own a Roundabout & had no problem changing the recline myself. When my husband came home he took a look & fixed it. All he did was put it in the upright postion , held it in place & turned the seat on it's side & pushed up on the base and it clicked! he pushed on one of the corners (but I don't know if that even matters)

Can't Install

You definately should get the rear tether connector to get this car seat in snug. It is the best way and designed to be used rear facing withthe Roundabout. Click the link (or cut and paste into your browser) below to see what I am referring to. When you get it you should connect it to the passenger seat belt track as that is connected to the frame of the car.
