How to get replacement parts for Sharper Image ionizer?

Need the fine wires I have the ionic breeze quadra and one of the fine wires in the unit snapped. Does anyone know if it an be replaced and where I could get it?

I took my ionic breeze to a repair shop because the red light won't stop when I turn it on.Both the red and blue light are on at the same time. He told me the circut board was burnt out and can't be replaced because Sharper Image is out of business.

If anyone knows where to buy parts for this, I'd appreciate it.

I have one wire that has snapped as well. Please let me know if you get an answer on how to get the parts.

i too have the same problem with one wire detached. would this cause the machine not to turn on at all, as this is what i'm experiencing. if anyone has information on this i would appreciate it greatly!

One of the electrodes broke off the botto of one of my towers.

I have been experimenting for literally years with different types of wire trying to get me beloved Quadra functional again....these weren't available before, but apparently they are now...they have them here:

I believe they are the same length wires for both the older version model of the Quadra as well as the newer one they have now.

I have si 637 quadra. cleaning the unit both little thin plates at the end of filter fell off. the unit works. how important is repair this ?

If you're talking about those little plastic tabs at the bottom, they aren't important. Their job is to wipe the ionizing wires when you take the grid out or replace it.

Sharper Imaage Ionizers

Ionized air purification systems have been proven to be ineffective for cleaning the air. These reports have been published by Consumer Reports as well as the EPA. Sharper Image filed a lawsuit against Consumer Reports and lost. They were ordered to pay Consumer Reports legal bills as well.

Sharper Image issued a recall on all Ionic Breeze Ionizers and filed for Chapter 11 at the same time.

Ionizers have been proven to create an ozone that is harmful to anyone with breathing problems.

Support for Ionic Breeze isn't possible since Shaper Image has recalled the product.

Your best bet to keep the air clean in your house is to use a hepa filtration system.

I believe that the motor on my Ionic Breeze unit is broken. Can I replace it??

Ionic breeze units don't have motors. I thought they just moved the air by ionization.

The unit might need to be cleaned. Check you owners manual or the manufacturer for instructions.

I have a sharper image ionic breeze professional series and paid a preety penny too. one of the wires inside rusted and broke, it lights up but no breeze is comming from it and the green light doesnt come...

If you're referring to one of the ionizer wires (wire that has beads on it to clean the wires) then unfortunately, I'm afraid the unit can't be repaired. As Sharper Image has no authorized repair centers or replacement parts. If you're referring to wiring in the base of the machine, then a repair could be affected by either cleaning off the wire ends and reattaching them with a small piece of wire or soldering the broken wire back to the unit itself. Sadly, many of us (myself included) spent a lot of money on these units and the only place I've found parts is a website called http://breezerepair.com/parts.html (not an authorized repair center) but of the parts they have carry, they don't have the wire you referred to. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Replacing my new Ionic Breeze Quadra

Unfortunately Sharper Image has discontinued support on the product line. There was a recall going on with the product but since the company is chapter 11 right now, I don't think it is being honored right now.
What happened was Consumer Reports ran a test on ionizers, Sharper Image received a bad score and filed a lawsuit. They lost the suit and had to pay all legal bills causing Sharper Image to reorganize.
The EPA has reported that using ionizers in a house or business may be harmful to your health. You can read an article about it on their website.
The Consumer Products Safety Commission is going to release a final report on all ionizers by the end of the year. Their decision may discontinue all sales of any ionizers in the United States. This industry should have been regulated years ago just by the EPA data alone and for some reason it has been ignored.

Ionic Breeze products are no longer being supported because Sharper Image has gone into bankruptcy because the units were proven to be ineffective for cleaning the air by Consumer Reports magazine and by EPA studies. In face they have proven that ionizers can be harmful to use if you have breathing problems.
