Sony cybershot DSC-T2 has a blue screen on playback

I went to copy some photos onto my computer from my cybershot DSC-T2 internal memory and 5 days of photo folders have turned into a blue screan on playback mode. The photos were there in the morning and gone by the evening. The camera still counts the photos however continues to show a blue screen inplace of the photos. The camera is less than 2 months old. The internal memory is holding photos previous of the photos that are missing and displays photos from after these days aswell. Please help me if there is anything I can do to recover these photos.

Take the memory card out of your camera, then try some photo recovery software to rescue the files on your digital memory card, here are some for your options.

Photo Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Recovery for Mac

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

I took a couple of photos on my Sony DSC-S950 and my memory card was not intalled properly. The photos were saved to the internal memory. How can I transfer them to the memory card?

Hi Monica,

If you want to transfer(copy) the photos from the internal memory to your memory card, follow the instruction below.

12_16_2011_3_47_21_pm.jpg

You can also view the procedure by downloading the User's Manual at www.retrevo.com. When you are on the link, click "Download the Document", enter your email add and confirmation number, then click "Download Now" to automatically begin the download. It is free and safe website, I used it personally.
Turn to page 61.

Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

Is it possible to transfer the photos I took on my Cybershot camera onto my memory stick?

Hi,

To copy the images from the Internal Memory of the Camera to the Memory Stick select the COPY option from the Memory Stick Tool Menu of the Camera to OK.
To select the Copy option, press MENU-->SETUP-->MEMORY STICK TOOL-->COPY-->OK.
The copy option will copy all the images in the Internal Memory to the Memory Stick in the Camera.

Transfering photos from my compuer photo gallery to my camera

Make sure photo files name must be under DSC00001 to DSC99999
connect your camera to computer, click My Computer, Removable Disk, Folder and copy photo files from computer and paste in that folder. If file name is different, camera will not show it in playback though file is in memory stick.

Sony Cybershot - the memory stick is full

More than likely the camera still thinks the photos are on the stick, especially if you deleted the images while it was hooked to the computer. I would safely move the rest of the photos off the stick onto your computer then format the card through the camera and with the camera disconnected from the computer. this should clear the card.
