Basically, I got a Windows NX-3000 Web cam for Christmas, and after installing the software, I attached the Web cam, and when I restarted my PC, it wouldn't load up past the, 'loading Windows' section, just before where you enter your password. There may be a reason it's doing it? I am using an extension male to female USB lead, because I'm using the Web cam on my PC, and it is meant for a Lap Top. But that has never been a problem in the past, using a Lap Top device on a PC I mean. Please please please please please can someone help me????? Thank you so much for taking the time out to help me :) Yours very greatfully, (coz it is a icked Web cam), yours thankfully, Chris.

Did you connect the camera before installing the
software program? If you did, disconnect the camera from the USB Port and
reinstall the software program. When the program asks you to reconnect
the printer, then plug the cable back into the USB port and it should function
properly.
Hope this is of some help. Bud

Hiya mate, nah, sorry but that's useless. 1), It's a Webcam, not a Printer, and 2), I've plugged the Webcam in, after installing the software. But I've fixed my little problem now anyway thanks mate. Basically the software that came on the CD, was for a much more powerful PC/Lap Top. So I downloaded the correct software that I needed from the Microsoft Download Centre, and now it works fine. Well, I say fine, but there is still 1 problem that I've got. I've fixed every problem that I had, apart from 1, when I open up the Dashboard controls, everything works apart from the, 'Tilt' up and down control. Everything else works, apart from that. To be able to zoom in, you need to change the resolution settings to anything apart from the highest/biggest picture, and then it'll let you zoom in. But when I zoom in, you can, 'Pan' left or right, but when you, 'Tilt' up or down, it will make the Webcam's picture freeze. I haven't got a clue how to resolve this problem? So some help with this would be very much appreciated. I have however got Microsoft Customer Support working on the issue, so if I do get a response from them soon, with an answer to my problem? Then I will post it on here, for everyone else that has a similar problem. Take care of yourself, and thanks again for trying to help me.
