Touchscreen doesnt respond

My MDA touchsreen suddenly quit responding. It still looks normal. It just doesnt do anything when you touch it. The unit still works if I use the keyboard.

Hi Your touch screen is part of your LCD and it was connected together thru a small thin cable and it is fragile. When this cable is bad or lost contact , your touch screen is disabled. Only way is to open the case and replace. The method to replace it was tricky. If you make a mistake, you can damage your LCD or scratch it. If it's greyed out, there is no data to reset, and it's not that causing the issue. ... wentall wonky, swipe for charms wont work, can select anything ... I tried the hard reset and low and behold my touchscreen started working again.

Left touch screen doesnt work & doesnt send a load

your touchscreen is probably going out. Many of them will fail on one side before the other because the cable that connects the touchscreen to the unit itself will tear or malfunction. you need a new one.

Touch scre4ens are actually two screens, the visual surface and the touch surface. On can be damaged and the other function normally. Unless it is a driver issue, I'd say the touch screen is probably dead.

Booting problem/ virus infection My mda pocket pc fails during booting process when it is restarted. sometime the screen goes blank during the booting process or it just hung before the booting is complete. When it boots fully, it can not function for more than five minutes or when you press any button the screen just goes blank again then it restarts after a while. What could be the problem please?
