I have a Magtag Dependable Care machine and it fills with hot water just fine but the cold water has slowed to just a drizzle. Our water is from a well so I'm thinking there might be a clogged line (from sand). Is there a water filter that might be clogged going into the machine? If so, how do I get to it to clean it? If not, what alse could be causing this problem? Thanks Sue
There is usually a small filter in the fill hose where it fastens to machine (or sometimes at the tap end)turn off water , undo fill hose and check

Thanks so much. I was thinking of replaceing the hoses at the same time so maybe that will just be a quick maintance fix before something really bad happens.
Humm.. it looks like the filters are clean, not a bit of anything so now I'm back to square 1. I did buy new hoses because I have had these for 10 years and they were starting to look green around the ends. They are still good so I will reuse them for another outside gardening project and not waste them. I'm not sure what I need to do about the washer, maybe call in a professional to look at it???
My Maytag washer makes a noise when filling with cold water. I have new hoses.I have cleaned the filter (where the waterhose hooks to the machine) on the machine.I also reversed the cold hose and the hot hose but still when filling with cold water, it makes an awful "vibrating" noise like there is an obstruction somewhere.I disconnected the cold line and put it in a bucket (with the machine unplugged) and turned on the cold water. No problems. Leads me to believe there is an obstruction somewhere in the washer other than the little filters where the hoses connect to the washer. Is there any other filters to clean? Any suggestions what I can try next? Thanks for the help!
I have also cleaned the screen at the washer and cold water runs fine through the hose. Is there somewhere inside the washer to plug up?
