I have a Snapper mower with a 10 HP Briggs and Stratton engine, after running for a short time the engine stalls because oil is getting into the carb thru the breather tube, it is blowing a lot of oil thru the breather tube. Any idea what would cause this?

Dirty air inlet in carb. Remove carb and clean. Also run a fuel clean like sea foam in gas tank to help with any water or bad fuel that might be in the tank.
This sounds like a problem with the suction. If the air filter is clean then it will need new carb gaskets. There may also be an issue with the pressure being created by the engine.

Dirty fuel in the tank, breather in the filler cap blocked, or partly blocked main jet in the carb, if there is a fuel solinoid on the base of the carb check its function by removing, when the ignition is turned on the plunger should retract into its housing,
