Hello to all that have Red or Green
pixels in the dark areas of any given picture on your plasma screen. I can help your fix your plasma TV. All that needs to be done is an adjustment on the Y sustain board. You will need to remove the stand and the back cover from the TV. Then you'll want to reinstall the stand so that you can set the TV in the up right position. Then hook a dvd player up to the TV and put a movie in and push play. Once you get to where you have a picture on the screen that has a dark image on the screen and you can see the Red or Green
pixels push the pause
bottom on the DVD player. Know you what to locate your Y
sus board. It is the board that is going to be on the Left side of the TV if you are looking at the TV from the back side with the back cover off! If you are not sure what board is the Y
sus then please feel free to give me a call! I will guide you to the Y
sus board! 1-503-432-9904 Ask for Dave! Once you have found the Y
sus you will need to look closely at the board and you will find some Blue/Yellow adjusters on the board! One will say setup and the other will say
setdn next to it. Do not touch any of the other adjusters on the Y
sus other then the two that I have
mentioned above. If you do you could end up damaging your y
sus! So once you have located the two adjuster on the Y
sus with setup and
setdn next to them you will need to take a felt tip pin and make a mark on the top of both the adjusters so the you'll know where the
factory setting is just in case you need to start over! start with the
setdn! turn it counter clock wise if there is no improvement then turn it clock wise! if there is no improvement then put it back to the factory setting and try the same adjustment to the setup adjuster. You will need to have some one help you while you do this adjustment to the Y
sus because the TV needs to be powered on while making the adjustment and thus you will need to pay attention to where you are sticking the screw driver because you do not want to shock the poop out of your self! So find some one that can
watch the screen for you while you make the adjustments to the Y
sus! If you feel like your unsure about anything regarding this advice I'm posting please feel free to give me a call I will be more then happy to answer any questions you may have. Ask for Dave @ 1-503-432-9904 /

Dave,
same problem started after 9 mos.
Mine lasted a little longer, mine started after 15 months, (ya know, just out of warranty). I bought my set June of 2006. starting in OCT 2007, i noticed this problem. Its getting worse and more intense fairly quickly. I dont imagine the screen will make it to the 2 year mark. Burn in appears to occur fairly easily as there are faint ghost images when you turn the screen white.
I just paid the last payment on my Toshiba 42HP66 and I have Red noise flickering on black screen. I also bought my TV in July O6 I was told by a technician that my screen was going out and the red was triggering from the power supply He said "Good Luck" you need a new TV.... I don't know about you but $2000 + dollars and only one year? That's bad business in my book they should recall all the bad plasmas under 2 years old ...Can you say class action?
Went out today and bought a Phillips1080p LCD with a 3 year warranty! and a 90 day return Cosco. and free tech help.
never going to to buy ay sears again
