Motor not working

Plugged the juicer in and no sound in the motor at all. No smell of smoke. Opened the bottom and nothing suspect. The juicer is about 2 years old and not used very much.

I have the same problem with my Champion... It was working perfectly 3 wks. ago. After cleaning it, I put it away as usual. Today went to switch it to "ON" and got absolutely nothing. Granted, my machine is at least 10 yrs old. However, I was at least expecting some noticable noise or maybe a funny smell. Instead, its worked perfectly up to this point - I can't believe it!!!

Plugged the juicer in and it doesn't work. There is no smell of anything burned. It was working and then it stopped.

Hi I had the same problem yesterday and emailed Champion Juicer about the problem here's their reply below, his suggestion worked. Hello Duane, Your machine is equipped with a magnetic start system which will only allow the machine to start when you have the screenholder all the way in place just as you would have it to start juicing. If you do not have any parts on the machine it will not start. Please assemble it again and give it a try. If it still wont start call me at 209-369-2154 for further assistance. Thank you Carl

Juicer does not turn / rotate. Does this mean the motor is burnt out ?

It could mean burnt motor, but it could mean that it's simply got gunk in it, and it needs cleaning/lubricating. You'd have to take it apart to tell. A burnt motor has a very specific smell. If you take it apart, and there's no burnt smell, likely cleaning and lubricating will fix it.

Motor may be burned out; juicer does not turn on

If you saw smoke, likely the motor may be burnt. A bit late!

The motor stopped while juicing hard veggies and doesn't work any more even after the engine cooled down. again. How to fix it?

There may be an overload switch somewhere on the unit, it will just be a small button projecting from the underside most probably or in a small hole. If there is, just depress it. If the unit actually burned out yu would have seen smoke and smelled it.

The engine started to make a horrible noise and practically jumped off the counter while it smelled like something burned.

these juicers have a tiny little motor. once they smell bad, they are shot. not worth repairing. Joe

I have Jack Lalanne Power Juicer 250 Watts and it will switch on. I have changed the fuse, but to no effect. Any suggestion?

The stainless bar should be on the correct slots on top of the juicer. It has a safety switch on those bars. Smell the motor from under the juicer, it should not smell like burnt. Press hard on the switch, it might be loose.

Breville JE95XL juicer

I used needle nose pliers, it took a bit of patience but I got the screws out. I think I might replace them with regular screws. My juicer does not run either. Let me know if you find the problem with yours.

Leaking dark fluid from motor when juicing

sounds like the start of a horror movie. lol

ok dark? and no cracks or leakage from the juice container? hmm

dark .... ...its gotta be juice leaking down and mixing with the dark grease they use on the bearings.. but this is a wild guess. and i cant think of anything else unless a 100 roaches live inside the motor housing.
get it fixed when it starts to whine or smoke.
