On the printer operating panel, press the Options button twelve (12) times until Set Defaults appears on the LCD.
When you see the Use Factory option on the display, press Select. The printer should now be reset to the default settings.

Be aware that this will not clear up any issues related to problematic ink cartridges ink levels...

You can fix that issue by doing the following: just put the tape into the terminal and run cleaning process the printer will tell you that your cartridge is incorrect, just ignore it and removed the tape and try to print again and it will read the cartridge as new one.

If that does not work then try ordering a new cartridge

I need a code for a kodakhero printerphotocopier 7.1

I don't believe that model has a password. You may just need the password for the network you are using. If you want to reset the unit to the factory defaults see below.

To reset defaults to the factory default settings:
1. Press .
2. Touch , then touch Printer Settings.
3. Touch , then touch Reset All Settings.
4. When you see the message, "This will reset printer settings to factory defaults,"
touch Yes.
NOTE: Resetting factory defaults does not change the date and time, language, or
country/region.

Need password to my netgear router n 300

what is the model #?
Most netgear routers default to a username of "admin" and password is either " admin ", "password" or it is just blank. Those are the defaults unless someone changed it.
If you cant get in you can hold down the reset button on the back for 30 seconds (while it is plugged into power) and that will set it back to factory default settings then one of the above should work.
If this was a help please give me 4 thumbs up as I am trying to build up my rep on this site!

How do I reset a Xerox Phaser 4500 Centreware password to factory default.. or what is the factory default password? I have on which has been changed and nobody seems to know the PW anylonger

this should restore it to default.

By default there is no username or password required to access CentreWare Internet Services. If a username and password have been configured for CentreWare Internet Services and you do not remember the username and / or password, reset the printer to factory defaults (NVRAM reset).
To reset the NVRAM, go to the front panel's Main Menu:
  1. Select Troubleshooting, then press the OK button.
  2. Select Service Tools, then press the OK button.
  3. Select Reset NVRAM, press the OK button.
  4. Select Reset NVRAM and Reset Printer NOW, then press the OK button to reset all the settings to their factory default values.
