Spare parts the micro-switch indicating out tray open is broken where can I get replacement

probably the cd tray belt (a tiny black rubber belt that connect the tray rack with motor gear) is broken, check this by opening the player, if torn you need to buy a new spare and replace it.

The "sensor" is most likely a micro-switch. When the tray is in it actuates the switch and closes a circuit indicating to the controller that the tray is in place. Sorry to tell you this but it will have to be disassembled to replace the switch if it has failed as the micro-switches are usually sealed items that are not normally cleaned.

Check the micro-switches that tell the player when the drawer is fully open, and fully closed.
You most likely have a bad switch, or one that's at least failing.
If there's a nib on the tray that's supposed to hit a switch, and it's broken off, this will cause the same issue.

if you can't feel a clicking sound when you press the PTT button, then most probably that the micro switch under it is either get stuck or broken/damage.

Lucky if it only get stuck and need not to change it. just release again the switch and be cautious cause it is small and can be broken easily. you can open your phone using a t6 screw driver and locate the switch inside. it is tricky to change it if it is broken and need tools, spare parts and the skill to replace it cause it is very small. Have it repair to the nearest service center instead.

Id have a look on ebay with you model specs for all sorts of spare parts even broken complete pcs,some pcs have good spare part availability but others are difficult to find--good luck!

Here are a few possible fixes :
1. Open the micro switches, cleaning the contacts and streching the springs inside the switches a little. The Problem was, that one of the microswitches stayed conductive even when it was off/open.
2. Sometimes the loading belt is at fault. There are microswitches inside which determine the limits of the tray movement. There is one that is activated to indicate that the tray is out and another to indicate that the tray is in. If the belt slips, the inner may not be activated and the system will cause the tray to come out. Try replacing the belt.

I think your on the right track, youv'e probably dislodged or broken a micro switch, screws are mostly underneath, be careful this could turn into a Mecano Nightmare! Good Luck the Yeti

sounds like the unloader is stuck onthe machine which pushes against the micro switch.
follow the instructions for a parts diagram.
