Question about Activision Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for PlayStation 3

Wii - Call of duty with multiplayer and 2 controllers

Need to know if Call of Duty 4, will support 2 controllers for multiplayers?????

My mistake it is World of wars (COD 5) for the WII. We go the controllers working. Thanks for tying to solve my problem. But Grandmom's are not always technically smart...

Call of Duty 4 was never released for Nintendo Wii.

However, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions support 2-4 controllers for split-screen play, and Internet-based multiplayer via respective subscription-based internet services.

While running the latest wii software (4.3U I think) with a working wifi connection (the connection test is always successful) Call of Duty Black Ops will not allow me to play online Zombies or Multiplayer...

The game keeps freezing when I get about 2 minutes into it. It does it in campaign and multiplayer. It worked in multiplayer for about 2 hours then froze and freezes everytime now

Can't play multi-player in call of duty

For COD5 on the wii, there is no split screen or local (in your room) multiplayer. Only online multiplayer and co op in the single player campaign.

COD4 Multiplayer makes computer fans loud and hot.

When you play online games it will usually require more system resources to power. Your processor also handles the data that is being sent and received during your online session. Some code for online games have more overhead than others. I do not believe that it has anything to do with your machine, but more the software and network overhead that the multiplayer game requires. If you notice that both single and multiplayer run on seperate executables...

Single Player = C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3sp.exe
Multiplayer = C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe

Multi-players on games onslim PS2

On some games, Call of duty and medal of honour Rising sun, have a option for multiplayer. However, there are two types of multiplayer.
First type is the one that you are thinking of which is to be able to play face to face with two controllers.
Second type is online multiplayer which requires and internet connection.

in essance Call of duty 1 & 2 are single player games.
